Hi!

 

I'm Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Logic and Philosophy of Science in the Humanities Department of the University of Catania (https://www.disum.unict.it/docenti/claudio.ternullo).

 

Previously, I was:

 

2024-2026 - Marie Skłodowska-Curie - SOE (Seal of Excellence) Project Director at the Babeș Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca.

 

2020-2023 - Beatriu de Pinós (Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND) Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Barcelona (UB) and then, for a brief spell (07/2023-12/2023), a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the same University (working on a different project). 

 

Earlier, I held research positions at the University of Tartu (2019-2020) and at the University of Vienna's Kurt Gödel Research Center for Mathematical Logic (2013-2015).

 

Since September 2023, I have served as Secretary of the Italian Society for Logic and Philosophy of Science (https://silfs.it).

Research Interests. Philosophy and Foundations of Mathematics, Logic, Set Theory (and its Philosophy), Philosophy of Science, Epistemology, Philosophical Logic, History of Logic, Ancient Philosophy.

Additional Interests. I love languages, in particular ancient languages (Latin and Greek), classical music, playing piano, and tennis.
